| There were many who predicted that "The big three" Haldens OK, Kristiansand and Kalevan Rasti were the teams that would be the three top teams fighting for 1st place. All three teams had good positions pretty much all through the race but on the 9th leg Fabian Hertner ran a fast leg and changed to Thierry Geurgiou with a 3 min time difference to Haldens OK. And Thierry Geurgiou made no mistakes and Kalevan Rasti took the first Finnish victory in 16 years. Last years winners Kristiansands finished on 2nd place and the Norweigan team Haldens OK took the 3rd place. The best Swedish team was OK Linné, they finished on 5th place. Notable was that out of the top 10 teams 8 teams have Trimtex as their supplier of orienteering clothes. In the women's relay it was Haldens OK and Domnarvet who were in the lead. It was last years winners Halden with Anne-Margaret who was in the lead on the last leg closely followed by Annika Billstam from IFK Lidingö. Annika ran a great last leg and took her team to victory. Also in the women's relay 8 of the top 10 team had Trimtex as their supplier of clothes. |  |
