First WC win for Mona-Lisa Malvalehto

Team Trimtex Mona-Lisa Malvalehto took her first win in the world cupthis weekend i Liberec, Czech Republic. She won the qualification and skiied very convincing in the quarter and semi final. And in the final she was out of reach for the other competitors.

Another world champion to Team Trimtex

The world champion in orienteering Olav Lundanes is the newest member in Team Trimtex. He will help Trimtex with product testing and development with new and existing products.
- We are very happy to have Olav in our Team, says Mikkel Lund who is Trimtex man in charge of orienteering in Norway.
Olav Lundanes is not the only world class orienteerer in Team Trimtex, Peter Öberg, Thierry Guergiou and Daniel Hubmann are also members.
Team Silva winners in OMM

Björn Rydvall and Aaron Prince won the Original Mountain Marathon in England last weekend. It was a two day orieentering race with a starting chase day 2. Team Silva won the first day with 10 minutes and therefore started the second day in the lead. The nearest chasing team was last years winners and they started strong and gained 5 minutes on Silva. Team Silva on third place in ARWC 2012

This years World Championship in adventure racing was held in France on a tough course that stretched over 550 km and with 20 000 meters in height difference. The different stages consisted of kayaking, running, biking and orienteering. Team Silva had some issues with leeking kayaks and upset stomaches but still managed to take the bronze in this tough competition. Thierry Guergiou won Finnish middle distance championship in Varkaus. He won in front of 4 Kalevan Rasti runners. The next day Philippe Adamski won Finnish relay championship with his club Kalevan Rasti. After good races of his team mates he could secure the victory onthe last leg. The Swiss runners shows their dominance during the with the final stages of the Orienteering World Cup 2012 held during Nordic Orienteering Tour (NORT). Simone Niggli who won 3 titles at the World Championship on home ground this year, shows once more that she is the best orienteer. With 11 victories out of 13 races she was a clear winner. The world championships in orienteering in Lausanne was a great success for Trimtex. Specially for the home nation Switzerland. Simone Niggli Luder took several medals and the men took a triple on the sprint distance. The Swiss team took home the gold in the mens relay and in the womens class the Czech Republic won. Trimtex dominance on Jukola

There was Trimtex teams on all three places on the podium in the mens class at Jukola in Finland. The finnish team Kalevan Rasti won before Malungs OK and Haldens SK. In the womens class won Haldens SK and the danish team OK Pan Århus came on third place. 2nd place finish for Team Silva at APEX, Switzerland

After and 1 hour of racing, day and night, team Silva finished the Alpine Expedition Race, APEX, as the 2nd team, only beaten by the local team Rady´s. The APEX race is part of the Adventure Racing World Series, qualifying for the World Championship in September.
