Product development

All products are developed in our Product Development department (R&D) in Norway. This department comprises of highly qualified staff with a technical textile background and who work closely with the constructors in Estonia. Their main focus is on development and technology.

Fabric customization

The human body is built in such a way that it works best at the right temperature when active. It is therefore paramount that garments and fabrics are designed to help the body regulate its temperature independent of weather conditions.

Based on this, Trimtex have chosen fabrics with particular properties and developed combinations of fabrics that improve performance. All the materials are produced in Europe and developed by well known European suppliers.

Laser technology

In the past years, Trimtex have taken use of digital laser printing in production of technical sportswear. There are several reasons for this: It opens up an almost unlimited number of design possibilities when creating the club’s / company’s profile. One avoids excess dying and print falling off after use. In addition, the function of the item is improved due to near seamless pro-ducts ensuring high comfort and freedom of movement when physically active.

The process of laser


Our creative design team work hard to realize our customer’s ideas and wishes. They will help you with everything from the basic design proposal to adjustments to quality assurance of the design.		Our technologists will then transfer the design on to pattern files and make the final adjustments to fit the finished product. The pattern files are then printed out on widescreen plotters and checked before they are sent to the printing department.

This is a demanding process which requires great control and accuracy throughout. This is the reason Trimtex has established a daughter company in Estonia. There are over 25 highly qualified personnel ensuring that our customers receive high quality products - time after time. By taking responsibility for the whole process - from idea to finished product - we guarantee that you receive the best and most functional products possible.		In the printing department paper and fabric are put together in a large hot press. When this process is finished, the paper is removed, and the design and colours have been transferred to the fabric. Another quality control is then carried out and sewing can begin.
